I think this is a week that can be recorded down right in here. =)

In my organizer, i only thought that this will be a hectic week, full of presentations, and deadlines.
But far from what i've thought, it caught me by surprise what this week can be, and i can say that i've been on a roller coaster ride.

when something UNUSUAL happened, it's of couse UNUSUAL.
but when this something unusual happened twice in a week, is it still unusual? haha, i speaking in parables.
In fact, this unusual thing had brought me closer to some people, and i suddenly felt like i loved HSS even more.

Indeed, it has been traumatizing, and i've been telling myself to guard my heart. trying all ways to make myself feel better, and has been meditating: for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of peace, love and of a sound mind.

this has exposed me to many different faces of life, some may watch over you, some may empatize, some may not understand, and some scold and gave many comments. it suddenly feel that the human soul can be so fragile, but the Holy Spirit gives strength. Finding that place in your heart which you can call "my own" can only contain the Trinity.

I pray that I can forget and forgive, and move on without this burden in the heart. On the other hand, it has shown me that this is a trial that will make me stronger.
however, the stage i'm in right now, is just going CRAZY. i found myself saying and doing things which i've not in a long time. that's weird.

Anw, on another note. (it's a light and heavy note). I'm having mixed feelings of my social psychology lecturer leaving the school. I'm happy for him that he's going to the PM's office, yet, I dont want to lose a really knowledgable, awesome, incredible, handsome, sensitive lecturer. haha.
he's been so nice to the whole cohort, and has left his footprint in me.
his presence to me is like an anchor when the UNSUAL thing happened. He's so calm and knows what to do. Just totally admire him. Feeling =( and (= at the same time.
oh well, i can only wish him all the best and his endevours. :)

Looking forward to 21st Anniversary. :) definitely in for surprises and lots of love. and a place of healing of the heart.

ASIA CONFERENCE WAS PHENOMENAL! WOW!
words simply just cannot explain how glorious and beautiful the whole event and the works of our Heavenly Father is!
I've definitely received many things in my spirit, and I pray that it'll not just be a moment of encouragement, but of empowerment and transformation!

I'm totally blown away by all the speakers in Asia Conference!
Dr Cho, Dr John Avanzini, Reinhard Bonnke, Pst Phil, Dr Bernard, AND PST KONG! :D
indeed, the Lord really uses these man of God to deliver wonderful and powerful messages!
I'm really blessed by ALL OF THEM.. catching different things in the spirit with different men.

Somebody shared this with me during the week...
he was sitting at the first few rows during 1 of the service, and he could saw how humble the men of God were... Those speakers that usually comes to our church during a weekend service, we would honor them a lot, and when ministers like Dr Cho was around in AC, they're so willing and ready to take the back seat and always being so ready in the spirit to receive. WOW!

During the friday night service, I was so impacted by the love of the church, brothers and sisters, leaders and members. Pst Kong preached on that night, and due to POS, i dint manage to attend svc. But I walked into Hall 7 (empty with only a row of SM and UM people), i immediately felt like i wanna go right into Hall 8 straight away, to be there to experience all of these. I cant rmb what Pst Kong said, but everyone was appreciating each other, through the tough times and good times that the church has gone through was just amazing... :) i simply stood at Hall 7 and kept weeping. Truely, this is what loving God and loving people all about.

It was really AC with spirits of EXCELLENCE! :) i believe the delegates are blessed and they will continue to bring the works of the Lord back to their nations and there are more to come!

Praise the Lord! My bro blessed me with a guitar! Though it's 2nd hand, passed down from his friend, my i'm still excited about it!
Indeed, God is faithful to me as I stay faithful in Him!
It's only the 2nd month into Arise and Build, and I receive a blessing!
I'm so excited and elated about what God is going to do over the next 3 months and more Arise and Build to come!

It's a day filled with gratefulness. =)
I'm grateful and i thank God for everything that he've done.. Everything. =)

I'm blessed to be in City Harvest, my spiritual family that loves and cares.
i'm blessed to have Pst Kong, Sun and all the leaders of the family to be guiding and leading us.
I'm blessed to have a have a physical family that bonds together.
I'm blessed to have have known everyone that i've acquainted.
I'm blessed to have the favour of men over my life.
and most importantly, i'm grateful to my Lord Jesus in this Easter. =)

He've came and gave us His life and blood in exhange for our salvation, love, peace, hope, future, and many many more things
There's no way i can live without Him.. =)
And i need Him continuously in the rest of my days and eternity.

What an awesome, incredible, loving, merciful and glorious God.
There's only 1 way i can express my gratitude for him...

Totally enjoyed the whole of Sunday.
I love breaking through in the Presence of God with Pst, and the church
and I love the msg that Pst shared. :)
I love the fellowship at Bedok and at Vivo, love my CG!

Had totally used up every single area of my muscle in POS training ytd!
Training was 3hours, and i've been flying for 2hours. LOL.
I've got awesome Bases, Daniel, "muhammed Jian Fu", Tan Jin and Tiffany!
Samuel got great arms for backspot too! haha.
was brushing up the new guys' Elevator.
We successfully did 1 Elevator-X with Jin and Tiffany.
*But i just totally chui after everything. just lean on anyone i see. hahaha.
However, must thank God for His strength to bring me home safely.

How i really understood this sentence: "The calling of God is irreversable".
was talking with Jeremy on the way home together, and realised that he took a long time to rise up to CGL. and of coz, it's not the name that i'm looking for, but the double portion of anointing from God! :)

Was having this question in my mind: "WHAT IS LOVE?"
and the answer came to me, saying: "The origins of love is from God,
without love, He wont create the Heavens and the Earth,
without love, He wont sent Jesus to us,
without love, Jesus wont be willing to go to the cross,
without love, there will be nothing else in this world.
we're all people generated by love, and i am very inspired by SUN.
A person generated by love, Loves God, loves her family, loves Pst Kong and Dayan, loves people and working very hard to spread the love in her songs and humanity works. How can a person be so loving?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, LOVE and of sound mind. :)

i believe the news on Jack Neo for the past few days shocked most Singaporeans.
i've seen a couple of reports on him, and i really felt that he has been showered with a lot of grace, and i'm sure more grace will be upon him.

he's really blessed to have his wife, as his wife. Mrs Neo readily forgives for what he has done, and i think most imptly is that he's remorseful and is repentant.
i think what he really needs more now is support more than critism, as a public figure, going through this turmoil is not easy.

For those reports that are simply indicating abt his past, i wont spend more time reading them anyways. Coz i choose to believe that he will not make those mistakes again.
And i think he wont let those who supports and believe in him, esp his wife down on their expectations.

So, let's continue to support his productions, and as an individual, who will shine even brighter for the Lord. :)
*Just being reminded of David. As a KING, he committed adultries, yet God is still able to use him and called him a person after God's own heart. If God did it for King David, He'll surely do it for Jack Neo again. :) Jiayou!

Dont like the sudden change - having holidays. -.-
how weird can that be, i dont like holidays.
holidays means work, what else can i do. hahaha.

just being random.. I love eye contacts! :) those 2 second that kind.
haha, coz at least i know that person is giving me his/her attention for that particular moment. :)

i was on bus the other day, and i saw a couple of down syndrome teens/twenties.
they were talking loudly on bus.. and it set me thinking..
does down syndrome refers to these ppl have a deficit in their brains?
then how come they are still able to reason, but not to the fullest extend?
and i realised that they're kinda stubbon too..
it came upon me that aint some normal people like that too? having a fully developed brains, yet not being able to make the best decision? maybe that's what the human perception is, in bounded rationality.
but how do you explain stubboness in people? is this a personality/character?
... hmmmm ....

and again, these few days are working as coffeeshop xiaomei. -.-
get to meet all kinds of neighbourhood ppl.. some nice, some mean, some nasty, some irritating, some simply just.. customers. hahaa.
you know something? there was a girl abt my age ytd CALLED ME AUNTIE.
YA RIGHT, HOW GREAT IS THAT. DOES IT MEAN THAT COFFEESHOP CANNOT HAVE PRETTY LADIES BUT ONLY AUNTIES?! angry to the max can. humph.
and then there's this taxi driver whom everyday come to eat zichar, said that he kept 3 issues of newspaper for mummy (who's overseas). so nice of him. :)

:) KSP The Gang Gala Premier was a BLAST!
it's definitely a one in a lifetime experience for me..(i think)
and it's so cool to see my face for a few seconds on the BIG screen. muahaha.
anyways, the production is really an astounding success. hopefully KSP will be able to get the feature film out soon!
saw many celebrities at the Gala too.. WOW!

and, today is offically the last of my Year 1 days! hurray!
cant wait for year 2 to come, but it'll surely be much more stressful.

wow. long time dint blog already. :)
CNY is so near and so fast! and yet another year has passed.
I want to have a fruitful year in 2010! In the name of Jesus!
CNY svc was really awesome. what PK did during P&W made me realised that God is bigger than I thought He was! so magnificant, and nothing can be compared to Him. Bring our praises and worships shows how big a God i serve, and I do serve a BIG GOD!
This will definitely change my perspective on P&W forever!

Yup, and we're approaching the week of study break.
many projects, many things happened, but i still feel God's hand working in the midst of all the busyness and uncertainties. :) Thank God!
Wah Pheow told me i need to have 87/100 in percog exam to have an overall A grade for percog. and.. I will score 90/100 in percog exam! Amen!
It's really by God's grace that the grades of the modules are good (at least that's what i thought), coz i dint really do well in term test.

hmmm. Francis is leaving TP very soon.. and im really sad to hear that.
there will be no one in the future to treat us bubbletea (and laminate the note we gave him), wont be seeing him when i study outside consultation room, no one to ask questions regarding RMA, and wont be hearing his "high pitched" voice in the cooridors of HSS. :(
WILL MISS HIM SO! what a awesome lecturer we had... hope that he'll find better prospects out of TP and excel in the things that he do. :)

what a holiday i've got here!
next week starting school with packed up days of lectures and tutorials. (so not looking forward to it..)

- did a month of recuitment officer in AIA calling up ppl and getting hanged up calls.
- few weeks of slacking.
- 1 week of working in sakae sushi @ wheelock
- many many weeks of working hard on the storybook (Ranger Greger The forest saver) - slogged for it at Riverwalk.
- a couple of days as an EXTRA for kelvin sng short film (The Gang)

so far so good, interesting and good!
hahaha, many many new experiences in this holiday!
Knowing how to work as a boring Office Girl.
Knowing how to work in Sakae.
Getting the new experience of writing a storybook for kids (TEDIOUS!!)
and OF COZ! getting the experience to get involved in a short film.

getting changed into 1970's outfit. (obiang)
waiting for the crew to set up... (which is FOREVER)
getting to know really really nice people
getting to see how real acting is, and getting to SEE PPL THAT ARE ON TV in real life. hahaa
getting into fights SO FAKELY, especially with HEELS and RUNNING DOWN THE SLOPE to gang fight.
and sometimes, an EXTRA can really totally an extra figure.

i was too lazy to take photos, but it's really a good experience. something fresh and new. Must really thank Sarah for this opportunity to open up my eyes. =)

so yeap, ending of holidays, chionging of new semester.

Just got back from SD Sembawang Pri 5 camp..
i feel that a lot is on my mind. But i just cant clear them out totally now.
this is only my 2nd camp with SD as an instructor, and all i can say is I've learnt a lot that cant be taught on books.
so yea.. training up confidence and language skills. command and control. as well as totally what's within. HA.
generally, this group is a lil more fun than the last one that i had, but kids being kids.. haha.

cultural mandate is the phrase.

well, last week had something as exciting as the camp as well, NIGHT CYCLING AT UBIN!
haha, it was with TPAC.. the experience i had there was surprisingly encounters. =)
encounters with the revelation, encounters with sand flies, encounters with building a small shelter outside smelly toilet while raining.. and many more..

some how, adventures are in my blood.

anyway, what i was trying to blog just now was that...
i think i dont need self actualization right now, but i think i need more of self identity. hahaha..

i dont think that trying to find your self identity is emo, esp for a Christian. really.
if ppl thinks that getting self identity is emo, then you wont want to touch about this issue/topic, and till the end of the day, it do more harm than good for you.

I've seen some examples myself that those dint really find their self indentity during their teenage years struggles a lot when they step into adulthood.
i dont wanna be like that.
hmmm, for now, i guess that trial and error is what i can do right now.
i think im still having the "not here not there attitude and character". hahaha.
i need to have more stand and to identify my character and personality!

and yes! i've fulfilled my intrinsic motivation today! hahahaha!
swimming does make me feel good, thus it's intrinsic okay. LOLs.
it's been long since i've touched chlorine water, and i did today!

Ms Elizabeth Tan not gonna tutor my class liao.. a new tutor. -.- (no comments, our class knows it ourselves).
ironically, i think i'm gonna enjoy development psych in FPsych B.
ha, human minds are just complicated.
the tutorial on stress was so cool man. Ms Tan actually put us into the mode of relaxation. but i just felt like laughing. HAHA.

OH OH!
Ms Tan told me that i've gotten the MCYS scholarship.
HUH!! they dint have interview, dint see my port folio, and gave me the scholarship.
that's what i call having the grace of God upon me, and also MCYS having the faith in me that i'll pass my course. HAHA. (when my grades of my papers are all the last in class).

cool cool, i gotta finish my thesis paper and ANOTHER journal log by sunday.
and Special Occassion Speech by thurs. (memorize!)
so yea, the thesis paper and SOS are quite heavy papers.. =D

INSPIRE FAITH CAMP!!!

it's totally awesome. i was looking forward to this camp, knowing in my heart that the touch of God will definitely be found there.
and true enough, God never fails to turn up throughout the entire camp.
i just love to be in His presence, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT NOTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD CAN REPLACE!
Praising and worshipping Him with all that i have till i'm perspiring and my voice is gone is just.. WOOTS.
i was really blessed by all the sessions and prayer mtgs.
not forgetting to mention that PST ZHUANG, WEIREN AND FAJI's messages was mind blasting. =)

i'm feeling so refresh, felt that i was given the strenght to carry on in what i'm doing currently, and want to do more.
the CGLs are really amazing. They're totally great! they're the ones that made the MOST SACRIFICES for us, for the camp.
i guess the camp will not be as great without them!

My weekdays and weekends are soo different!

the weekdays were traumatizing for me. totally.
rushing assginments till the wee hours of 4 or 5am everyday.
earliest i could sleep was 2am.
-.-
the assignments are coming in NON STOP like a river of flowing waters.
sometime i really wonder, WHY DID I TAKE THIS COURSE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
some other courses are so slack. though term test coming, they dont have to chiong like the PSY students have to.
oh well, face the fact.

but the weekend was a little better, haha, placing the assignments aside for just that little while.
went BUGIS for steamboat with my ex-colleagues. =)
of coz, our topic will always revolve around childcare, and just that little more. hahah.
but it was enjoyable overall.

just loved to go back home in hougang. can slack and chill like nobody's business.
plus, there's aircon. hehhee.
went Hiking at SOUTHEST RIDGES with ELF on sat.
it was totally awesome, fun and was a time of bonding. =)
and of coz, was tanned.
will uplaod photos when the rest send them to me. hehehe

i always feel that weekends shld be refreshing for one to carry on with the following week. hahhaa
and service with Pst Mike Connell was incredible. though was tired after the hike,
still went for service.
everytime i see him, reminds me of my first. (opps. dont wanna get naggy here)

so yup, the week just passes like that.
next week is full of deadlines, and the following is full of tests.
afterwhich is Youth Camp, and gotta chiong project already.
feeling so isolated from the friends outside of poly, and my BEST FRIEND right now are assignments.
i sleep with them, i talk with them, i bring them along with me.
CRAP! am i getting some mental disorder?!

my uncle just walked into the kitchen.. and i said a passing comment: "i want die liao"
and he said: 'aiyo, xiao mei mei, you so fast gone after 2 rounds? be like a cockroach that cant be beaten." LOL

assignments are weighing me down! T.T
i need more time and energy and the brain to think. hah.
i've been on the online psych quiz for more than 1 hr alr, i believe.
it's only 20 qns.. but it's squeezing my brain juices out!

well, after play must do work already. gotta face the cold hard fact anyway.
and YES! play! hahaha. kayaking again today!
my skin colour is now obviously spilt into 2 colours.
was FUN today as well. i kept laughing thru out the rescue drill. hah.
and my weight was another factor. way way too light.
everyone was required to capsize, and i was being rescued rather than rescueing ppl.
Mas said that if i were the first few to get into the kayak first, i got no strenght to rescue others. hahha.

i loved the waves as well, just need more stamina to kayak thru!
but then again, it was the last session. my stern rudder was just too weak la.
rayyan says i dont dare to do it. hahaha. which he calls it "im a defensive person"
wow.
i've totally no idea, but i guess this is something new i've learn about myself today.
i'm bold and daring enough to do adventurous stuff, physically. (most of the times)
but comes to another aspect, i shld call the mental and character, im not as daring and bold, dont dare to let go/free to do it. (am i too old fashion or what?!)
oh gosh. i suppose this is something i dont like as well.
old saying goes, "practice makes perfect"
so i guess i need to be more agressive? or rather, open up? hahahha.

i'm happy. i really am. =)

it's almost a month of poly life already.
i feel that things are changing in the INSIDE for me.
it's like.. hanging out with a whole new different group of ppl brings you different perceptive and feelings.
some can bring the best out of you.
some can give you the worst you wanna be.

maybe 1 of the characteristic i can identify that seems to be changing in my right now is CONFIDENCE. hahaha.
sounds cliche la. but it's true for me.
Public speaking pushes me to be more confident.
and what happened in ELF selection was that i was pushed to be more confident in leading, in myself. in the things that i do.
ONE THING I gotta do, is to be more CONFIDENT in making friends, making connection. (learning from Rachel Tay). hahaha.
indeed, Iron sharpens Iron. but in this case, i'm trying to learn things from others that i dont have. and maybe they get it from me too.
i believe there's still something more. JUST THAT MORE.
daddy said last week, 'so poly seems like a turning point for you'.
hahaha, i guess he's right. but this turning point is towards the right way or wrong way, it all depends on me.

anyway, Foundation Psychology as a subject is definitely helping me. hehehe
it's the BEST subject compared to all those that i'm having now.
it's really interesting.. and answers my qns to real life.
how to tackle of those problems. =)
BUT, one thing not good abt Fpsych.. LOTS OF WORK AND RESEARCH AND READING.
oh well, it's one of my interest, SO, make do with it.

LONG LONG TIME DINT BLOG ALR.
seems like it just died.
this will be a SUPER RANDOM POST

but anyway,
there's LOTS of things happening ard me.. not going to post them all, but maybe just some. hahaha.

FINALLY, WENT FOR 1 STAR KAYAKING. wooots.
asked many many many ppl.. they all dont wanna go. =(
but still, i enjoyed myself. and learnt ALOT. hahahhaa
realised that my stamina is SUPER DUPER LOUSY! =(
Rayyan told the other 5 ppl: "NOBODY IS SUPPOSE TO GO IN FRONT OF KAILIN!"
(he was trying to do his job la.) hahahaha
I NEED MORE STRENGTH TO EMBARK into kayak inside water! gotta train ARMS already!
had a great time overall. =D except for the sea water in my nose, carrying the kayak (bruises on my HIPS & scratches on both middle fingers) and sandals keep falling off! hehehe
cant wait for next sunday. BUT I ALSO DONT WANT IT TO END. =)

okay, let's back track just abit to friday.
HAHAHAHA. it was just a total JOKE to me.
was looking forward to go for ELF (experiential learning facilitator) which is a CCA.
and.. it ended up to be a 'BOOT CAMP', as suggested by REUBEN. hahah
but thankfully, he was there to support me after the 2.4km nonstop run.. ran tog to the pond.. and into the waters.
BUT hunger still gave in to him.. and he gave up. =(
it was like mentally and physically challenging.. the instructors like SIAO one.
but that was to test us la. (it's so tough to get into ELF)
after Reuben left, good thing i've made new friends. hahaha. like EDWIN, JASMINE, JOHNATHAN, JEZ(spy from ELF), that kept me going.
completed everything in the period of 5 hours nonstop.
SO PROUD OF MYSELF. =D

another event one of the major ones was the HUMAN WHEEL BARROW CHALLENGE.
HSS is small, so everybody was made complusory to go.
Kah Yong wheeled me. hahaha. i almost CMI till the end of 50m. my back ache for a few days after that.
all we get is a pack of goodie bag and a cert of participation of breaking the RECORD.

sometimes i just suddenly think of the kids back in TCC. AM MISSING THEM A LOT!
how i wish i can carry Isaiah..Shamus..JunJie again. miss the intelligent brothers, Enson and Elson. =)
hahaha. well, that's random.. but they do really bring loads of JOY to me.
seeing them can take everything away and just play with them. hehehe.

1st week of poly.
SEEMS LIKE A MONTH TO ME.

i'm enjoying it! to a certain extend, obviously.
i'm cool with the lectures, tutorials, with the homeworks, trying to adapt to the online learning and so on.
at least the week of miscommunication between lecturers and students are over.
full swing of classes coming up!

weight of books are killing me. seriously. i guess i can use them to train up muscles everyday? hahaha.

it's seriously a time to force myself to accept everybody. LIKE IT OR NOT.
shall not elaborate more, lest ppl get offended.
okay, nobody is perfect.
but i guess i'm gonna be a PSYCHO if this carries on. -.-

my parents are right. i need a much more larger capacity to contain all these.
else, will be like what ms wang says, "you'll be very sad".

wooohoo!
i did enjoy the 3 day orientation with HSS.
though we're the smallest and the newest school, but we're mighty and united!
made new friends and met my classmates. =)
i like them! hahaha.

Temasek Regatta for us was like.. WOW
like what Ms Marie says, we're a drop in the ocean.
Engineering cheers were so loud. i think got at least 1 thousand of them.
whereas HSS cheer, nobody from engine side can hear. hahaa.

at least we get to see everybody in HSS.
only got 120+ freshies. including GEMS. =)

instead of jam and hop, a few of us went for dinner at TM, pastamania.
had so much fun there. some pictures to enjoy! =)

Freshmen Orientation Camp was just superb. =)
made friends, enjoyed cheers and games.

i was super quiet on the first 2 days. just dont know why.
like throw face to my 'camp instructor' title sia..
anyway, still made friends with ppl in the empire and others as well.

=) i love all the cheers, esp zetten's poker face cheer.
the group leaders were so creative to kuso the songs. hahaha.
did the TP song, handsign song, and mass dance. woots!
just went bonkers while dancing with Llyod. LOL.

the past week was incredible!
enjoyed the prayer mtgs at Riverwalk daily the most! =)
charged up and ready for Easter!

and yes, it was my last week of work.
till the end of the day, it's the kids that made me dint want to leave..
I cant believed that i almost cried when the whole of Toddler Class said bye bye to me..
especially when Enson, YiJie, Isaiah and many more voices were so loud..
i cant agree much more with Nicole, T-class is the distressing zone. hahaha.
Will just miss the days at TCC when Darren asked me to wipe his butt for him,
when Joshua will hug me from behind,
when Enson and Isaiah cry,
when Chee Swee throw tandrums,
when Jun Jie looks at me with his big and innocent eyes,
when Xiaver's voice is so adorable and cute,
when Faith says, "miss ng, i like you."
when i have to pin down Raphael to prevent him from disturbing the class and so on... ...

but apart from the kids, will also miss the teachers and colleagues..
suprisingly, i'll miss Miss Wang the most. hahha.
through she's fierce, but she really taught me A LOT.
how to handle the kids,
how to do art and craft,
how to take a group for Directed Activites (DA)
and the things that i've caught from her. =)
黄老师 is always encouraging, and i will miss her saying, "Help me inside the toilet". LOL.
Thank God for his favour upon me in this job.. coz 黄老师 said that i did even better than what was expected of me. =)
赵老师 is patient and loves to explain to me why is she doing this, or why that issue happened that way..
I love to do nap duties with Li Wee or Hui Lee at T/K1.. always crap and enjoying the cute positions that the kids sleep.
And all the teachers who are so friendly and warming. =)

all in all, i can only say that i've grown over these 4 months in TCC and hopefully will be able to join them in the future again. =)

WELL, more or less, tmr will be the start of my poly life alr.
going to TPSU camp.. excited to meet new people and enjoy the camp!
hopefully i'll be able to settle down quickly in this new environment.
i feel that moving in to Tampines with my cousins will be a whole new dimension for me.
like.. trying to learn to be more independent on myself without nagging of mum, doing all the chores and taking care of the daily neccesities alone.
so i think it'll be like a tough period for me before i settle down. =)

it was an awesome weekend for me!
at least i was away from the kids for 2 days. =P

the sisters' session was great! all the gals looked so good. =)
Elyn is soooo nice! she wanted to give me a whole new bottle of moisturizer.
but apparently, my face was sensitive to it.
the skin on my face is peeling off like a snake like that. =( i just dont like it.

dinner after service with Pst Phil was so "romantic".
at least done my part in taking part in the Earth Hour. LOL.
went to Fish n Co. at changi airport.

went for qing ming and then to sentosa with them.
best part was the slack at starbucks with Clay and Brian for many many hours. =)

i think i've recharged my battery a little throughout this weekend.

COPY CAT. i forgot to take the final product.
but i proud to say that i've completed! =)

so what's next for me? more song charts? LOL.

relaxed myself today by jogging with zul. again.
BUT an unexpected unplanned route came our way together with shawn. hahaha.
was trying to explore the private housing estate between sgoon, hougang and kovan after dinner.
TOOK US 1 HR TO DO THAT.
hahhaa. had great time looking at bungalows and cars.
to phrase it differently, we were lost. hahaha.
i just enjoyed the entire process of it.
so call, trying to find the light in the midst of nowhere. =)

RIGHT NOW, i'm just waiting for brother to come back with the good news of his approved leave to go Pelepah Waterfall. hehehe.

i think i get this partly becoz of K2. these kids can really drain me out TOTALLY!

due to this.. i'm starting to think that is the early childhood industry for me..
after next week, this temp job marks a "comma" to everything.
but right now, i just PRAY hard that it's a "fullstop".

true enough.. my temp job is coming to an end next week alr, and means the starting of school.
abit reluctant to move on now.. hahaha.
but i must really thank all the colleagues that have helped and taught me along these 4months.
going to different classes is a different experience. being able to work with various ppl.
i just love this job.

though it's ending alr, but i'm looking forward to the poly life! hahaha.
a totally new environment, hopefully can adapt to it quickly.

it's all about changes. that's what makes life so happening.
learning about issues and people everyday is so interesting. SO, I'M ENJOYING THIS LEARNING PROCESS! =)

Have been wanting to blog.. but my comp crashed. =(
but still, i must say that i've enjoyed my first camp as a camp instructor at Changkat Pri sch with Synergy, and there's much more to learn.
amazingly, i tried to apply what i've learnt through the camp into my childcare.
and it works! the kids just listen to me. hahhaa.
have stopped nagging alr. =)
will upload some photos of the camp when time allows me to.

AND, shld i say i regreted celebrating Zul's birthday?
yes, he did had a surprise and we all had fun..
but the aftermath is high chances of contracting Hand Foot Mouth Disease from me.
i'm like having itchy rashes all over for 2 days, and non-itchy rashes on my arms and thighs.
hopefully it doesnt spread from me.. coz i'm going to be like so guilty.
GUYS, I AM REALLY SORRY. shldnt have gone out and shared food with you all.

=) Glenys ask me to hold her paper while she tear, and that gave me the idea to teach Shamus in the manner.

i just did some reading online.
i'm surprise to know that everyone of us have such thing called "Motor Skills"

No wonder each time Toodler class go for activities, they call it Large Motor.
It is to train up their large muscles.. so cool.
and then we have this thing call Fine Motor within us, that requires our eyes, fingers. Like, enable us to multitask.

WOW. i'm so excited to learn about all this in Psychology Studies! =)

my dad is really sad abt it. an one time event cost him the license of his entire life.
okay, it sounded serious, but he told me that his full license is gonna be taken away.
Full license includes all types of motorcycles, all types of cars, all types of heavy vehichle and operation of cranes except for buses.

all he've gotta do now is to wait for the sentence from the court.
Fines and worst is jail. =(

i almost froze at pasir ris park on friday night.
SD had a camp with CHIJ TP.
how i wished i've went for the camp. the girls were so hype up.
i was very impressed by one of the performances out of the 3 classes i've saw.
=) and there was good company of Shafiq with azhar and myself.

in terms of work, just hope that i can sail through the last month i have with TCC.
how i wish to quit just immediately. hahaha.
i thought i will love this job, but well, apparently, i dont fancy it now.
i almost got sore throat just by shouting at the kids, and i dont have good skills in handing 20++ of them.
they're afraid of Li Hwee but not me. =(
Nicole was super stress in K2 last week.. and i tried to help her do the admin things..
and me, i'll sure get it from Ms Wang at least twice a day.
and Li Hwee will just look at me with eyes of sympathy, trying to say that she've also got them all last year when working with Ms Wang.

dad was browsing through the new phone flyers to check them out.. coz he wanna change his phone.
and surprisingly, 2 days later, he won a sony ericsson K770i at his company lucky draw. COOL!

Whoo! i've just bought a skirt, a tube, 2 tops and a cardigan for $55. hahaha.
cant wait to wear them..

anyway, the CNY celebration at TCC(Touch child care) is just like a celebration at SGS for me.
haha. many things to do and carry, help Ms Tay with the set ups and PA. just that i dint plan for that celebration only.
the kids are cute. dancing the lion dance.. singing the CNY songs.. hitting the pinata.

Mrs Lim, my supervisor is super random. she said this during lunch with Nicole and me: "oh, i rmb liao. you last time very naughty one.. always wanna go toilet. then Ms Tay will complain to me that you sit on the toilet bowl and sing song."
LOL! i seriously have no idea i did that. and i kept insisting that that is another person. haha!

=) i heard from 陈老师 that Samuel Chong, my kindergarten friend was featured on newspaper.
haha. so glad to have known him.. for so long already..
he got cancer at a very young age.. in primary sch.. and got his hand amputed.
but as a clever boy, he manage to get 8 points for L1R5 in O's. haha!

i asked 黄老师 and Ms Tay ytd while helping to do deco for CNY, that how come they can still survive teaching kids for 10 over years.
haha. got to know some interesting facts. LOL.
and ytd was a super WET day. it was raining.. and the kids were peeing on their mattressess while sleeping. it was A LOT of them. haha.

yea. finally, chosen the dual diploma course.
i feel that psychology is just an extra course offered, coz i wanna get into early childhood. it's just like a backup diploma for my future if i dont want to be a kindergarten teacher anymore.
but this course shld be very taxing.. coz need to take 14 to 15 electives.

right now, i'm just hoping my phone can be repaired quickly.
the siemens phone is driving me crazy.
it was an wasted trip today to the service centre at J8.
paid $75 for the LCD screen repair.
then realised that some of the buttons are faulty when i reach AMK.
go back again.. and they say they'll check.
hopefully i dont need to spend anymore money on the repairs of this phone.

yea, results.
my 'six sense' came true for me. hahaha.
at least i've got the results i wanted within my aim.
13 for L1R4 and 17 for L1R5.

i'm sooo impressed by the phy/chem results. from E8 in prelims, i've jumped 6 grades to A2! all thanks to the hardwork and time given by Ms Tan and Ms Mok!
I've got B3 for english! and that's a very pleasant surprise. i've only thought to pass english, and Mrs Tan thought i wont do well in her subject.

anyway, i've got the same results of L1R4 and R5 as my bro.
i told him. "you shld have just photocopied your cert and give to me. and that will save me from all the studying" LOL!

well, i'm still deciding which course to take.
initially wanted psychology. then change to business course and change to early childhood.
and NOW, i'm offered a chance in Psychology and early childhood as ONE course.
but i'm hesitant.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!!
trying to do research right now.. and TP just called me and say i've been highly shortlisted into this course from the interview that day with only 12 ppl.
arghh.. so which way am i going?

think think think, pray pray pray.
it's definitely the time to move on.

i'm more excited compared to scared for results tmr.
whatever the results maybe.. I'm proud to say that I've done my best,
and i believe that God will do the rest for me.
(let me jump up and say PTL tmr.)

TP called me up ytd, and ask me to go for an interview for the dual diploma course straight after i get my results tmr.
i guess i shld have a good chance of entering this course. =)

Service with John Bevere was so great for ytd and today..
He's one of the speakers i enjoy listening to, other than Pst Kong. He's the best.
anyway, i like the way he preached, and the sermon that he've preached as well.
i'll go buy his books.. when i've got the money. haha.
Drawing Near by him was good, and i wanna read more..
Hope that he'll come back real soon!

What a way to end my 2008 and start my 2009.
on 31 dec, OT until 8 plus then met Brian for dinner, for the first time after so long..
and we headed to buangkok to meet Yong Wei. and found out that the count down celebration is for the residents which belongs to an elder age group.
failed to persuade Yong Wei to go Vivo for count down.
in the end, decided to go night cycling instead.
went to my house to get the bikes and go buangkok count down.

night cycling on 01/01/09 was fun. went all the way to ponggol end to enjoy the breeze and chill.
found out that it might be a good place to trek.. LOL
Brian still tried to recall the songs we used to sing during the pri sch days. lOl.
he got a good voice!

well, it's a new year.. looking forward for the events that are going to happen!
new goals, new dreams, new visions. Thank God for a new year, new beginning!

Lost my voice for a few days alr..
N class made it worst for me.
so if you talk to me, i'll eat my words up.. coz i cant pronounce anything.
well, but it's all worth while for them, in exchange for their cuteness.

If i'm still with N class for next year, it'll be super interesting to be with the T class right now.
there's so much to train them! esp when they still dont know how to express themselves.
just like JunJie, he dont want what he wants, then keep saying that he wanna go toilet.
and Shi Xuan, blabbering in his baby language..
i found out that there's so much to explore in the age of theirs, and everything is so new and undangerous. hahaha.

Today is the last day of school for them.. which means spring cleaning and renovating for us.
i heard that the teachers need to paint the wall ourselves.. and Mrs Lim asked me to clean up the office.
oh man, the office is like... WOW. mountains and mountains of stuff.. that's the thing that i dont like to do.
but well, it's my job. get done with it fast.

last but not least, i've not receive a christmas present for a long time! and going to work is like going back to childhood days where many many presents pour in to me. hahaha!

yay! that's the end of the working week.
good, at least i learnt how to handle kids this week.
went to toodler class for an hour, and they're very different from N-class.
they're still learning to talk and express themselves.
so cute! all of them are naughty but adorable. haha!

i'm quite satisfied with myself.. coz i completed 34 sets of 2009 calender.
from photocopying, to sorting out the months and colours, to slotting plastic divider and sending it for binding only takes me 2 days. (with a lot of backache. the tables are short.)
hahahaha!
i also learn alot from 赵老师 the very exprienced teacher..

i'm starting reconsider alr.. i heard from Miss Ong today that she was also in business.. then now going to take child psycho.
still thinking.. well, it gotta depends.

i'm pretty excited.. in 1 single morning today, i've been offered 2 jobs.
whoo.
thank God, it's BF period. i really pray that i can fulfil it in 4 months.

the first job offer is that aunt offered me an admin job in her company, NTUC.
it's something like answering the phone and doing some admin things.
the pay is quite good, $6 per hour.
but dont know will get the job or not, need to go through the HR and interview first.

the second job offer is from mum. quite surprising acutally.
she says that her colleague is looking for a tuition teacher for her child.
and he's K2! hmmm.. requires a english and a maths teacher.
i suspose i can handle a K2 child?
well, it's also not confirmed yet.
mum will try to bargin the price with her colleague. -.-"
she say wants half of my salary once i start working.
haha.

bro is bringing dad, mum and shu hui on a cruise.. well, he just got an pay increament.

i'm still trying to look for another mark in maths to get A2!
but Mr Ko still wont give it to me. -.- (nonetheless, i wont give up!)

the major pull down for my total grades is combine science.
i also cant believe i've got E8 for that.
HELP!!! i've been failing combine sci since day 1.
gonna work extra hard for it.
I'm happy to get 11/15 for chemistry practical, but can do better.
but physics practical got 9/15! aiyo. plot wrong graph. sian.
must stick to Ms Mok from NOW till O's chem paper.
At least a B3 for science in O's. my door is open for the miracle to come in!

It's 1st of Sept!
Happy Birthday Mr Sanath Marc Ee,
and Happy Teachers' day to all the teachers!

Some of the ex-student leaders went to celebrate Mr Ee's birthday with Synergy Dynamics ytd.
We had a great time! even though most of us were tired. =)
And it's a good time to catch up with one another.
Dint see Mr Ee and Rayyan for almost a year alr. and Rayyan is still "angry" with me for not turning up at Shines for the SC camp. hahas. Really Miss them A LOT!

Had a "Sanath Marc Ee's Bowling competition". the winning team gets the to walk away with real cash! though i dint play, but had a great time laughing and cheering away.
Rayyan and Kris played well, and they won. hahas.
and we get to see funny scenes. shall not elaborate.

man, i lost to shawn in pool. he got his revenge. hahas. i won him at genting, and now, he won me at west coast reacreation centre. let's play again next time!

i just randomly asked my dad about the fall of communism...
and then he gave me 2 hours history lesson! hahas
even thought my dad only pass PSLE, but i think he's perfectly alright to take O'levels now!
he told me about the economic downfall of Russia, then link to USA, then to other Eastern European countries. What's more! he told me about the communism in China, then link to Taiwan! and gave interesting examples which i find very funny and easy to relate to!
Awesome DAD!

anyway, had a difficult time to fall asleep ytd. coz today get results...
i was visualising myself getting A2. at least a B3, i told myself. and i visualised myself to sleep. haha

well, all of us were very excited to get our results today. haha.
and by the Grace of God, i've got an A1 for CHI! Distinction for Oral!
super happy! i dint expect that!
really thank those for prayed for me..
AND! i can say that i'm proud to be a student of MS LEE TR!
hahas. she really sacrific a lot for us during the chi exam period.
and went all the way out for us! so glad that i dint let her down.

I serve an amazing God!

so blessed to have come to know Him.

yup, indeed, God is good.
i can sense and feel a breakthrough that is coming.. real soon!
the 21-day prayer is really good, and it shows how the hand of God is moving in my life!

the CGCs had a powerful and wonderful mtg the day before.
just like a CGM. the CGCs had fun, joy and laughter fellowshiping and enjoying the game that was led by YuZhen. *so many many "butt-tiful" colours!*
and of coz, not only the fun part, it was a deep encounter with God once again.
the remembrance of my FIRST in Him.
learnt a lot from the mtg. gonna put in actions.

i can really see the difference when i was a young believer and now.
being young, i had all the faith to overcome PO.
but now, yes, i've grown from glory to glory. but i think that the Lord wants to test me in this area once again.

No doubt shall set inside me anymore!
Strengthen me when i'm weak, O God.

Not just that, these few days, i've seen in my dreams, that the vision that was given to me, will come to past at the right time.
but more yielding, moulding and breaking is needed.

It's been long, when i've been to a session, that the atmosphere of it is good.
hahas. yup, went to JW church for a session with Pst Jeffery, Senior Pst of Jakarta Praise Community, and tog with True worshippers.

INSPIRE! WE ARE GETTING STRONGER!
i guess this will be quite a long post.

yup! after the whole camp, i realised that INSPIRE-STRONGER is very different from BREAKAWAY camp. but rather, it's like the 2nd Inspire '07.

This camp, revived my dreams, revived my passion, and most importantly, revived my love for GOD!
there are many things that Jephthah went though tog, and, we emerged as the champion house!
but i still think that all the houses are awesome, and we ought to share this with them. Gideon, Shamgar, Jabez and Jephthah!

Jephthah is the smallest house of all. consisting less than 30ppl. but we're sure united! THE EXPO PPL!
many friendships are forged in the camp. not only within the houses, but also across the houses!

indeed, INSPIRE has inspired me to become stronger. starting as a TL in breakaway, opened up my eyes. it was the first step back then, and INSPIRE has brought me deeper!
unsure of how to lead, or how to be hyper before INSPIRE '08, i tried to do the best i can. i may not be perfect, but with a perfect God, i can do all things!
special thanks to Cindy Koh during Breakaway, that really encourages me to do more the Kingdom of God. i love her!
i still rmb that i cried every night during Breakaway, becoz i felt that i wasnt doing what it was expected of me.
and i also cried every night during INSPIRE-STRONGER, NOT becoz of my low self-esteem, but by the love of God that really touches my heart.

different people tells different stories of INSPIRE-STRONGER. and i do so too.
other than looking at the physical aspect that Jephthah won, the spiritual aspect for this camp is very IMPORTANT for me too.
having a deep desire, longing for a fresh touch from God before the camp, helped me to have a heart of expectancy for the camp. and God never fails to surprise me. =)

God CALLED me, and gave me a dream in INSPIRE '07, and INSPIRE '08 is like a half time break in the midst of everything, to asked me not for forget my Creator. and this ensured me that i'm CHOSEN.

"For many are called, but few are chosen."

Kelvin Tan preached on the first session, and the word of God double confirms of what i am doing right now. this is the period of moulding and training. and more is to come. Cynthia ministered to me, and i can feel that power and anointing of God upon me.
Pst Zhuang preached on the 2nd session, and he prayed for the CGCs and desire-to-be CGLs. the word made me realised that God only knocks at the doors of unbelievers, but i will have to seek God by knocking at every door that i can find. He's very difficult to find, but i'll seek Him will all my heart, with all my strength, and with all my soul. this relationship is not just a 1 way channel, but a 2 way channel, between God and me.
the last session was preached by Bee Leng, and it really encouraged me to step out from the "USED TOs" breakaway from the mindset that i had, and look forward.

we had much joy and laughter throughout this camp, and i really love Jephthah 2. being a Team Leader of 10 ppl was enjoyable for me, for i have a team of people that are cooperative and supports me. Alice, Beckie and Cheryl gathered everyone's well wishes and made a card for me. the feeling is unexplainable.

on the first night, we went for night walk at Bukit Timah hill. initially was 4 ppl in a team to walk up tog, but we met the other 2 teams,from Jephthah. we went the wrong route and ended up at a dead end. we walked back and found the Quarry that we're suppose to go to. the road was dark, and unsure of what's in front of us when we take every step.
but God is good, that in the midst of darkness, we saw wonderful things on the way. we may have gone to the wrong routes and wrong paths, but He will lead us back to the destination He wants us to go to. and that sky that we saw that night was very beautiful.
when we all went back to the campsite, Kel and Cyn was at the gates.
i was the last to enter, and Cyn said to me, "God have a wonderful destiny for you." (Cyn and i dont know each other well)
HE saw my heart, for i was crying out to Him, whether are the things i'm doing is what He really wants. and He sent people around to ensure me, and set my heart in peace.

i guess i will never forget, period, for what Kel said to me at the last session.
he said, "KaiLin, RISE UP." he said this firmly.
these 2 words just stamped deeply into my heart. if i put his words for us/me together, it will be like : Rise up, be strong and never give up.
indeed, God ways are higher than my ways, God's thoughts are higher than my thoughts.
He will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that i can ask or think of.
Praise God.

the camp ended offically at Jurong West Church 4th level.
but it ended for me at the RIVERA.
Shannen said a prayer for me. she's leaving for studies in july.
i'll sure miss my ROLE MODEL!

yup, i really want to thank a few ppl in this camp...
Kelvin, Cindy Koh, Shannen and Cynthia for still believing in me.
Wendy, for lending clothes for me for Haute Couture, =)
Jonanthan and Geraldine, for awesome House I/C,
Rae, who showed me to "smile with a good attitude" even when things are going tough,

yea, in the mean time, i also feel a little burden for the cg regarding Inspire Youth Camp.
only less than 5 days away from camp, but our overall attendance is not that good.
Given that we can bring lots of friends for our single outreaches in, i believe that we can do better than this for Inspire Camp.
and! John Goh is the finalist for Manhunt. so gotta support him!

and during these few days, i've decided to be a "DA BU SI DE ZHANG LANG" (which what Shannen Low and Wah Ju says) lol.
each time, i'm going from glory to glory for the kingdom of God.
and just today, irene told me: "BE AN ASSET! DONT BE AN LIABILITY!"
if you take accounts, you will know what it means.
i want to add on, to be someone useful, being a tool for others. dont want to be an burden to others.
like what Pst Phil says: "After each trials and tribulations, the glory of God will be greater upon you"
i shall not be discourage or emotional. i may cry before the Lord, but i will choose to hang on to Him and rely on His strength.

It's been long, since i've blogged.
heng hui complained that my blog is starting to rot alr.
so i decided to post something here. hahas

i'm so glad, that O's Chinese is over.
i've done my best, and i believe that God will do the rest.

and it's HOLIDAYS!
well, there much to do in this holidays.
many many events. so excited.
just last week, our cg went to escape theme park for outing.
apparently, it rained. but we still had a great fellowship!
and right now, there's <21-day prayer>, which i believe that thru this season,
many of our members will grow deeper with God. BREAKTHROUGH is going to come!
and yup! it's once again, INSPIRE YOUTH CAMP!
this time round, we're getting stronger.
going to MOE dairy farm campsite for the camp.
and i'm really honored to have the previlledge to be a team leader. AGAIN! =)
i'm going to learn how to lead better, and not going to let the past stand in my way!
ALL ARE VERY ENCOURAGED TO GO FOR INSPIRE YOUTH CAMP! camp-X as well. =)
it's gonna be a life changing camp, believe me! i've been thru it before. hahas
and this time round, it's going from glory to glory!

for the next few days, it's gonna be fun!
planning for FOOD EATING COMPETITION for cg this coming sat, and we're going to have our very own personalized (N346 PRAYER BOOKLET)! in conjuction to the <21-day prayer>

june is not a good month for slacking. but! it's gonna be the best month yet!
be it spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, it's gonna be good!
though there may be more intensity, but i'll definitely find JOY in the midst of serving!

Quite long time dint blog already.
so many things happening around and to me.
but still, i'm grateful.

throughout these few days, i realised that running away is not the solutions to problems.
and running away will let myself feel even worst.
so i decided to face it, and tell myself that it is gonna work for me. =)
many thoughts are running through my mind. but i believe as i hang on to Him, i will get out of this wilderness into the Promised Land.

God is really Johovah Jireh. He's definitely my Provider.
His goodness and mercy follows after me.
thank God for everything.
these few weeks, i've been tight financially.
but through blessings and blessings, i've finally get what people says in their testimony.
"although our pockets are empty, but we're not in lack of anything."
i'm really appreciative to ppl ard me.
take for example, today's N346 post exam party.
thank God that Lynn, Shannen and Yu Zhen came and stood in the gap for our cg.
although they have their own activities to go on, but they still chose to come and help us. THANK YOU!

i've got this revelation today. while playing games. wow!
hahas. i was wrapped up by my group mbrs in Jasper's and KitMeng's dressing up game.
i was turned into a 'mummy'
well anyway, they covered my eyes with toilet paper. I CANT SEE ANYTHING!
at that moment, i feel that even though my vision in God is blurred, my future seemed far, but there's still other believers that are there to help me through!
they'll lead my hand, and God will open up the way.
even though i dont dare to take big steps, but as i began to trust, all things will work together for good. Praise The Lord!

thank God i dint give up at THAT moment. i just want to sing of His love forever.
even though rivers may run dry, but i can still drink of the living water.
He will make a way, when there seems to be no way.

i will never leave You again. keep me embraced in Your comforting arms always.

I'm not alone
I was never alone...

i just realised the important of fellowship with other believers recently.
just like the story of the 10 chopsticks.
when they're alone by themselves, they're easily broken.
but when they're together, nothing can break them apart.

just like us, when we're alone, things will hit us straight right into our face and we're defeated easily.
but when people around us help, support and encourages us, it is definitely of great benefit to us.

building strong relationship with others are also very important.
anointing flows through relationship.

haha. why do i come to think of all these?
maybe recently dint fellowship a lot with others believers, abit lose touch.
and when we just get together, we can just enjoy each other's company and never thought that fellowship time is long.

i love to fellowship. with YOU and you.

well, 2nd council investiture was ytd.
it marks and end of my journey with the council.

looking back these years, or in fact, these 4 years,
i really feel a lot, for the things/events that takes place, for the the people i've known thru this.

i just realized, that it is the Student Leader and the Student Council that adds colours to my Sec school life.
days of joy and enthusiasm, days where tension and anger arose, days that i wept silently behind close doors, days where i just relax, it's all with them.

i can say, i'm very baised, coz till today, which is 2 years later, i still prefer SL than SC.
why do i say so?
coz SL taught me things that are unseen with the naked eye,
SL forged the relationship between the leaders and teachers,
SL was a place, where ppl wont forget.

when SL was 2 years old, i was choosen to be in. (i was a sec 1) (2005)
things were so different from primary sch when i was in SL.
i had many 'first time' in SL.
the first time that i went to camps,
first time that i climb mountains,
first time that i was the youngest vice president in SL,
first time that i talk in public,
first time that i type proposals,
first time that i hold meetings,
first time that i was given the opportunity to unleash my capability.

all these will not happen, if i wasnt in SL.
i may just be still an normal student till today.
it was made happened, becoz of Mr Yap and Mr Ee.
these 2 people really made a huge difference in these 4 years of my life.
they gave me the chance, to trip and fall, and learn along the way,
they taught me to be a better leader, they gave me all that they have.
it was really an previllegde for me.

but things were a little different, towards the end of sec 2. (2006)
there was an merger, that was insisted by the school, for SL and Prefects.
that batch of SL excos were super unhappy. let alone myself.
all of us held on the the mindset, that SL and Prefects ARE different.
SL adds life and colours to the sch, plan events, organise activities, to serve the sch.
but Prefects are mainly on discipline, and more discipline and still discipline.
we tried to resist the merger, but as what i've said, it was being insisted, thus, outcame the Student Council.

the whole structure was being change, i was forced to step down as a VP at that time for the sec 3s to take over.
i was just an pioneer to SC.
i lost my enthusiasm for serving, as i felt that it was useless for me to work so hard, to be critized and seen as an alien by the senior exco.
i always rmb what Mr Ee told me.
"if i cant change the situation around, why not make the best out of it?"
i decided to gave it last shot, but nothing change and i cant force myself to compromise the standards of being a leader.
so since sec 3, i lost that passion. and without Mr Ee ard, there was no one to guide me along.

without passion, i cant do things well.
soon after in 2007, the sec 4s had to step down.
the new batch of excos have to be choosen.
and i was nominated. i thought, perhaps there's still hope.
but apparently, things got worst for me.
tension arose among us. i was reluctant to do work.
zul, being a SL in the past as well, had the same sentimental as me.
but our 'forces' are too weak to rebel back.
so we decided to go on strike. we were slack and was seen as 'nothing to do people'.
and the fact was nothing was given for us to do.

perhaps that's the division between the SL and Prefects in the Council.
hopefully, the next batch will not have division, for they're the 'pure councillors without mixtures'
i believe with the new addition of new Council Mistress, Mr Chng, these batch of people will lift up the name of SC and shine even brighter than SL last time.

till the end of the day, SL with the seniors, Mr Yap and Mr Ee, will be seen as a closest family to me in sch.
They made the difference and expose the leader in me. Esp Mr Yap.
the past will always be the past. i shall look forward in the near future, to work tog with Mr Ee again.
they will always be held on closely to me heart.

still i wld like to really comment on Pei Ting.
She's really great. she seems to me, as the most calm person and 'it's okay' person.
i'm really sorry to her, as she'll always do the job.
she cleans the room, did the proposal for the box, and did everything without complains.
if there's a best exco mbr award, this will goes to her. hahas.

you guys are awesome.

Praise God!
i went to a makeup combined CGM on friday.
i was really glad that i went there.
people are so excited there, and it's just totally amazing!
hahas. i find a contrast in the cg and my cg.
their cg only got 4 guys, whereas my cg only got 5 gals.
LOL. so during Praise and Worship, the sound of gals cover over the guys. lol

the cg was led by Ariel and JieYing. wow! the word of God was so good!
if not of time constrain, i guess i can sit there whole night to hear Ariel preach.
she's amazing!

well, i love to attend their cg, but i want to go back to mine next week!

=) i'm laughing at my own foolishness.
the last post, i was too worldly minded, and being frustrated over things that doesnt matter.
how foolish that can be.

but today, some things took place, and i just really feel that nothing matters, to be in presence of God.
He's so so good. i cant bring words to my mouth, but i can just stand here and testify of His love.

someone interupted me while i was talking to another person.
he bombarded me with questions like, "how you know is God real? how you know you've experience it? how you know that He's alive?... ..."
he just bombarded me with questions and questions. of coz, i replied him.
but afterwards, this set me thinking.
"why is it that it's so difficult to explain the supernatural things? people normally believe in what they see, but dont believe in what they hear."
then i heard a whisper in my heart, it says, "the love of God is something that cannot be touched, but it is something that touches people's heart. we live our lives to TESTIFY of God's love, but not EXPLAINING God's love.
wow. isn't that suppose to be how it should be? =) i stood in awe.

while i was on the bus back home, i passed thru a place, where i always hang out with different cliques.
be it CG, or Euphoria, or North, or just some closer friends, it just bring rememberance to me.
how great is our God.
it's the love of God that gel us together
it's the love of God that all of us experience before.
it's the love of God that makes us want to go for an extra mile,
it's the love of God that bring us through EVERY THING.

you know, it's good to come to a place of solitude once in a while in God.
i was just asking God the other day, " what does it mean by solitude? "
hahas. never did i know, i've experienced it today.
it's a very good feeling. coz i know that it's God that is here with me.
nothing that happens are coincidental. it's the plan of Almightly God.

i love weekends, it's where i get refresh from the tiring week,
it's where total acceptance can be found in the house of God,
it's where minds and spirits are transformed,
and it's where i get to fellowship with other believers.
the presence of God is all over me. this is something you cant explain, but you can experience. I love Jesus.

i'm really happy for people that are being water baptized ytd and today!
congrates to Joseph and Yun Ting, they got baptized ytd. =)
let me proclaim! I shall go for water baptism the next time round!
God is never early or late. He's right on time. =)

oh well, i've let emontion got over me today.
i repent.

i've gave it a thought. Dont get, then dont get lor.
at least i know who i am in Christ.
i know clearly what's happening behind of me, and i'm just trying to be a better person.
old habits cannot be kicked off in just 1 or 2 days.
for me, this particular bad habit seems very hard to kick off.
but it gets better these few months.
give me time okay?
some have given up hope on me, but i really pray that i can reach the standard of what they're expecting of me.

to me, i'm a person that wants to be regconized.
but if it's really due to this circumstance, then it's okay to me lor.
i've brought it upon myself. oh well.
but definitely, i know i'm being regconized in the eyes of the Creator.
nothing else matters to me anymore.
i know i've let down some people that have really high hopes on me, but please, dont talk bad about them can? i really appreciate that. =)

i mean, i really love them a lot. at the end of the day, these are the people that have helped me and promoted me to who i am today.
i know myself very clearly that i've disappointed them a lot and let them down.
still, i'll be constantly praying for them, hoping that there'll be someone else that will raise up to the occassion and bring this to a higher level of standard.

i'm not going to let myself fail all the time.
i need to learn from my mistake. failures makes me stronger.
it may be, that the satan is trying to get something out of me, but i can proclaim today, that he's not going to win me over.

God is all i want, and all i need. He sees everything, and nothing matters to me. It's all in the hands of His.

Praise The Lord!
Today i was given the opportunity to share the testimony of SGS.
i was super excited! hahas. shinning for the glory of the Lord.
actually i had Deja Vu when Irene called me at Mac, that i will be sharing testimony.
last time when i had this, i thought, how is it possible for me to share?!
But God is a God of Miracles. =)
though i manage to share the testimony, Tanglin is still in front of us.
SHANNEN! WE WILL CATCH UP!
Easter is coming. BY FAITH!

the vision sharing today was excellent.
the presence of God was so strong, everyone knelt and wept before the Lord.
i'm really very challenged by pastor.
it's just like 'Inspire Camp No.2' hahas.

God spoke to me, once again. in the past few months, i kept proclaiming that my dream in the Lord will be fulfiled.
but the more i proclaim, the more i lost the 'root' why i want to be a cgl.
Irene asked me few weeks ago, i was surprised by my answer.
'it's not totally this case' i thought to myself.
But during the combine mtg last week, and today's session, i was reminded by God.
i dont want to share much here, coz it's very close to my heart.
but if you want to know, i'll share with you personally :P

hahas. i look at pastor today, and i was reminded of alot people.
Light Produces Light.
Pastor also talked to our CG. It's time to do more.
i really learnt alot from Pastor today. He's a MAN OF GOD!

yea. other than vision sharing today, i also want to address something.
i really see God working in the life of MS LIM SHU HUI!
oh man, i saw Cindy's blog that day, and i was wondering to myself, Shu Hui really changed so much?!
but i saw it with my own eyes today.
SHE'S JUST TOTALLY AMAZING!
in the past, she say : aiya, dont care la.
and she'll be emo.
but today, when i tot she's emo-ing, she's actually thinking.
hahas. wow.
she's definitely concerning for other people more than herself.
SHU HUI! You're great! She really testify the love of God through her life.
Praise God!

and Jasper! He's definitely coming back stronger and mightier!
