it was great today.

anyway, we were partly bbq-ed while talking.
then kit meng brought a bunch a kids there.
ard 7 of them! lol.

great fellowship with them, manage to get to know them more.
the day before was playing lazer guns with them. lol
then Hans was there, and Zhen Yu was there.
they went swimming.

we were late for CGM lah..
went to buy food and all..
we had a special CGM. or rather say 'noisy' CGM.
coz when leader speaking members wont talk.. but alot ppl talk today.

great presence of God. but i haven have enough of it.

great to see tian yu back in CG!

after CG ate Pizza. great time to know the friends more.

they were standing at door. i thought they waiting for me.

ytd night was reading a leader's blog.
was really blessed by what she post.
i'm still young and there's alot of things that i dont know.
but i shall not look down on my youth.

the camp commander was Kelvin, Bee Leng's bro. then Edwin and Wei Ren(CGLs) assit him.
we have teams like Wasabi, Popiah, Europhia, Anything and Gatsby.
super lame lame names and teams.

after lunch played bindfold game.
the objective was to trust our leader and build confidence.
we went through egg+flour+soap+water mat. blindfolded.
and trustfall. maybe that's where it begins.

then we went to Changi beach and played pick-me-up, caterpillar, sea mart. great games.
changed out and prepare for Session 1 with Pastor.
whoa. praise was so great. even though there's only 60+ people.
heart of expectancy.. went very hungry.
then Pastor shared abt how the church were like before. he wanted to see it again.
preached abt Decision.
amazing.
then he got burden. before ending, he told us that he wanted to rise up a whole new generation of CGLs. young and steady ones. by his expression, he's really burden.
after session 1, pastor called us to call friends. and the funny part is he called us to call back home. lol
it's just awesome. went to bed. at 11.30pm. real early.

ard 4.30am, leaders woke us up. said that there's emergency, then bring us to Changi beach.
Wei Ren, Pat and Sharon was there. Wei Ren brief us. it's MISSION X.
i was sitting right infront of him. and i believe at that point, a whole new generation is buried within every leaders heart.
his eyes were watery. he said:" you guys are the only young one left that we can depend on"
wah. this phrase. chopped into my heart.
we had to memorise our church's mission and Acts 1:8
church mission: to build a church with a strong spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity, where every member is released into ministry, discipled in the Great Commandment to obey the Great Commission.
Wei Ren: you will be facing the end days. and persecution will arise.
now you will have to go into mission field and be persecuted. to train you up.
the objective was met. spirit of urgency within us, being able to overcome persecutions.
there's malaysia, Japan, China and Indonesia( i think ).
at Malaysia, there's spiderweb. then at Japan, pick up marbles using toes in cold water.
at China using a stick to carry you through the bible. and Indonesia was " suan tian ku la "
our promised land was the basketball court. ended ard 7am. Wei Ren debrief, and shared that at leaders camp, they were persecuted even worst. at the end of mission, they all cried.

session 2 was with Kelvin. he was sick. so is Edwin. poor guys. they really sarcifice alot for us.
Edwin lead praise and Wei Ren worship.
Wei Ren shared that session 1 praise was excellence. and we can press in to knee level, waist level or overflowing. interesting.
Kelvin shared on vision and dreams. he shared alot on his personal testimony.
got encouraged. :) he's strong. and he dint quit.
he ministered. Wei Ren helped him. i think Wei Ren ministered me.

after that we did drama rehersal. lol. it was so funny. the had BBQ.
pastor came and fellowshipped with us and friends.
i went crazy lah. Joseph cant take me. hahas.
and Tommy. he though i got 7 friends in a row. and he came and said,
Tommy: i just wanna say u're awesome.
can bring so many friends.
Kai Lin: no lah! they're not mine.
he got a little embrassed. but thru that, we were friends. :) unique hairstyle.
after sending friends back and shower, we met at grass patch.
Kelvin brief us on the next day. and asked us what time we wanna jog. hahas.
actually i wanted to sleep at ladies leader room. but another member say she muscle ache. so let her lor.
wanted to press in to the leaders. but nvm. was little depressed lah. lol.
then 12am celebrated Joshua's birthday. then Kelvin and Wei Ren called me.
was surprise they know my name. anyway, i know Jasper told them.
i thought was some discipleship lah. scare me.
then Kelvin and Wei Ren say they wanted us to share what we've(4 ppl) experience through the camp. wah. excited. hahas.
they asked us to share somethings. they were glad to see that. :) there's hope okay.

took a long time doing QT by the pool and staircase. then came up with what to say..
on my way to QT bum into Kelvin and Wei Ren. hahas. was trying to make way for them to go first. then Kelvin asked me to losen up. not to stand so straight. lols!

6am went for morning jog. apparently, the leaders were not up yet! ard 6.20am liddat then come down.
Edwin still brush teeth infront of their room window to let us see. hahas.
did stretching and off we go.
was surprise with my running skills. i actually can run fast!
ran to the end of Changi beach. sang great is our God on the way.
did many many things on the way.
then Edwin scold us. the objective of morning jog is to run tgt as one but not seperating.
um.. ya. then watched sun rise.
stood in a row. and Edwin told us alot. the skies is ours. how far to go depends on me.
but when he say step out if you're ready to reach out to what you can have, nobody did.
we were all not ready.
Kelvin bought us back. and the 3 guys were having memories of their army days when we say the group of army people preparing to run.

we cool down. they're so muscular lah. can see Wei Ren have six packs and big big muscles. lol
Kelvin abit skinny but also got some muscles. hahas.
went for breakfast. our group super lame. leaders were having mtg then we keep disturbing them. we sand the Barney song. then Edwin stand up and say: "this is time we get serious."
he was joking.
we also tried to sing other group de cheer. the easiest is Popiah one.
really funny.
after breakfast was session 3. Kelvin dint preached, we prayed. from the north to the south to the east to the west.
i prayed for servanthood. great faith need to pray okay.
Kelvin shared somethings. wah. tears were rolling down and down.
then i shared what i've experience.. was shaky, but think shld be okay.
preparing for the future.
then Yunting, Sarah and Lokies came up to share as well.
Lokies. wow. after all that, we sang we're a family that loves.
Hui Wen encouraged me. Wei Ren indirectly also did so.
Last words of Kelvin before it ends, dont ever give up and stay strong.
actually there's only 2 best individual award. then they change to 5.
Edwin intro that person. and it was me.
a person with good attitude is all he needed.

i can say that through this camp, lives are transforming. Hui Wen told us that she really saw a huge change in us.
she was really proud of us.
we fellowshipped abit and went off.
CGLs left earlier to deliver the eqiupments back to JW church. wah. from east to west.
there's something more. i believe in what God prophesied to me through Terence.

wah. heart abit itchy. lol. met a guy of my type lah.
but i'll just leave it to God.
that person is of authority, met all my qualities. and i think he's single.
lol. what am i talking abt!

this whole week camp. which i can say is a good and bad thing.
the pros are to enjoy, the cons are not finishing homework. lol

first camp this week was SC leadership training camp.
first day we went dragon boating at kallang.
all the way i was laughing at mr arman. he's old liao
then after that trek to SHINES. went there, book in to the bunks.
did creative cooking. i bought the ingredients.

next day was ropes course. after breakfast was rock climbing and absailing.
i went all the way up of rock wall. so proud of myself. :)
absailing i did without fear. hahas. maybe coz i've done it before.
then lunch, and negotiation course.
wah. there's a metal line, without any support except a few ropes hanging.
very tough lah.
then wanted to do negotiation course. but not enough belay. argh!
after that went back to school, had campfire.
eh. i'm light can laugh at me ar. hahas.
the instructors were figuring a way out to start campfire.
then mr ee carried me. stupid lah.
campfire was great, at least people get high.
wah. did the friendship dance for 15 mins without stopping. lol.

after campfire got treasure hunt in school. no lights except 'exist' sign.
played, drank the coffee+tea+biscuit+bread. taste ok leh.

next day 6am went back to prepare for WYX inspire youth camp.

went to seragoon central and meet CG to go east coast.
then at east coast bro called me and say he was locked at home. no keys to go out.
thus, i took cab back home. i got really fustrated by the uncle.
took me few big rounds and some more give me attitude.
after that went home, open door, then went back east coast.
wah sian. walked wrong way. like super whatever lor.
then found CG, played dog and bone.
then we chilled out.

miracle trip. everytime i go Penang, i'll fall sick.

drive us from a place to another. her job super relax.

after that went to 4th uncle house to fetch him.. nice guy.

after that went back.
here's the funny part. sis Jeannie drove us to 4 star hotel. coz mom wanna shit.
then after that meet bro Hin. for rojak. lol! then my stomach super pain.
sis Jeannie and i rushed off for Shrek 3 movie. hahas.
she drove me to 5 star hotel and shit. lol.
then she say if Dad wanna shit, she'll drive him to 6 star hotel. hahs.

ya. met sis Mary.. and went for Shrek 3. stupid movie. but nice. i like the donkey. hahas.
next day went back. again. aunt went to buy food. every moment we're eating and eating.

the trip very long. went to KL and JB to alight and board people.

trip was fairly okay. i got a guitar! hahas. stay in Penang like stay in Pulau Ubin.
u want go where can go where. so free and easy. hahas.
ya. struck me there. the Follow Me shampoo sign was all over.. then i thought of Emerge sat's session. lol.

ok. let me talk abt last week first.
Emerge. saturday. only 1 session.
but was really great. pastor preached abt Gideon and the 300.
was super struggling.
many people on the spot can give their lives and their hearts to God.
but frankly speaking. i was thinking.
great burden within me. am i able to give my 100%, follow Him and lay my life down for Him.
i carried this back home.
was doing QT. wasnt very happy coz i dont know the answer myself.
Holy Spirit came into my room. He told me He'll be sending something down for me.
and i'll be able to unwrap it by the end of Emerge.

Sunday, i served for session 6. the drama was great. PVC(padan valley college)rocks
after svc went recycling. nobody asked me do. but i guai guai do. coz i not serving for the next svc.
after that went to look for CG. something happened.
i really feel super super bad. Cindy and Wendy 'scold' me. wah..
ya. then went to queue at hall 7. good thing there's aircon. lol
fellowshiped there.. and queue and queue and queue.
managed to get bravo terrance. T5. but at least the view is not bad.

Terence got a new hair. i mean new colour of the hair.

came to the preaching. all exhausted. but stayed still. first time see Pastor Kong preached until so exhuasted.
dint caught what he was trying to say at first. but he kept repeating and repeating.
to wanna let us know the trumpet is in our hands right now.
God-Moses-Joshua-Elijah-Elisha-Joel-Angel-Jesus-Simon Peter-Pual-John-us(martin luther, John Wesley, David Livingston,smith, Billy graham, oral roberts, kong Hee, me!)
it's really passing on the trumpet on. and there'll be a sounding of trumpet.
at that point of time. i know H.S nv bluff me. i was unwrapping.
that time, am able to shout out loud that i will worship Him.
determined to do so. 100% for Him.
Pastor gave and altar call. before he can finish, i rushed all the way down.
but it's not so infornt. everybody went. pam. it went higher and higher.
adding on to my list. one more thing. cant tell.

Emerge is super super powerful. i went home again, burden within me.
to require God to change me and empower me. super hungry.

'i can do all thing'
that's the theme for this year's EMERGE.

this is my very first EMERGE.
missed last year. so not counted.
whoo. i can definetly tell you today is super great and lots of testimony to share.

morning wake up. mum and dad allows me to go out.
dad nag a little. then took little faith.. asked him to drive me to expo.
(coz his office is at changi.)
anyway, he agreed and blessed me with BREAKFAST!
something i eat everyday. but this gave me POWER to last for the whole day.

then reaching expo. wah. i super excited. (but dint jump up and down lah)(dad's watching)
yup. and met Sheena. went to queue. met Ronald in the queue.

i dont even dare to look at ushers today. and somemore run away.
coz. yes. i 'ran away' from duty. not really. but dint inform IC.
i see him alot times today lah. wah. hide here hide here.
but was sick mah. so cant go on duty. (ok. i know it's an excuse)

session 3(morning session) not many people attended. like a few fishes in the sea lah.
wah. close alpha and echo completely. looked so small.
super hyper. praise and worship. we sang in Japanese, Indonesian malay and chinese.
international emerge. lol
pastor recap on Cultural Mandate. got hooked on again.
he got a new look. say, brighter? 'rong guan huan fa' hahas
arh. hairstyle. cool. tycoon i shld say. gold swirl down. wow.
of coz. great presence. new sense of anionting bah.

after session looked for Jasmine. whoa. she selling ICE-CREAM.
i look at the price my specs dropped. lol
ya. helped her sold ice-cream
went to give out flyer. like super paisei lah.
but nvm. please God must please His authority also.

yup. then went hall 8 for beauty pagent and manhunt.
super. saw IC again. RUN!
but no where else to run. coz only charlie open.
we took the first 1/2 2 rows.
but still gotta squeeze. got all the 'weapons' out. all ready to support DESMOND!
got poster, whistle. and voices. lol!

after that took pics with Desmond. hahas. handsome guy.
then went to look for Jasmine. this time she really gonna make Joanna and me popular in church.

can you imagine the crowd queueing outside hall 9.. and we take the bell and ice-cream liddat sell.
wah. super super no face. but good experience.
usher IC was saying: ' if got ppl buy then you sell lor'
lol.

wah. the high part come liao. session 4. steady orh.
but before that. announce grand finals for beauty pagent and manhunt. Desmond got it!
wah. n338, n346, n302 super high. scream and shout and whistle like nobody's business.
until Bernard asked us to 'shut up' from stage. lol
immediately was the grand finals. wah. super nervous.
then they asked questions. Desmond was super anxious and nervous can. hold headset like listening to some nice music.
then to his turn
Bernard: what would you want to change in the youth today?
Desmond:(think think, super nervous) i wanna change the value system of our youth today.
we have people like my bro(ivan) not responsible. so we must change the value system.

wah. we all like. laughing at ivan
but abit worried also. scared he cant get into top 3. lol
results came out. well, he dint get in. but we're all proud to say that:
DESMOND! FOREVER OUR SHUAI GE!
lol. cool.

yup. maybe got distraction? praise and worship cant concentrate. but seriously. it was superb.
was seeking more and more. yup.
we had spelling bee. wah that guy and spell faster than i type lah. he's like wow.
sunday grand finals. hahas
we also got performance from CC. super super cute. wah. future of tmr.
can say. bro wahju really speechless. ok. what am i talking abt.
anyway, pastor Kong interviewed him. successful business man. tak wahju (means rich)
he encourages us. to go after. run after.
and money will surely chase and come after us. hahas. imagine that.
turmoil bah? dont know. wah. arose within me.
i'm looking for the new 'thing' i dont know what. waiting for God to say.
i believe this emerge, will tell me what it is.
and to think of it, my current vision and dreams appeared at this point of time last year.
when i dint go emerge, when i dint experience it before. whoo. great God.
ya. Diya and Darren came, the project superstar champs. ok lor. hahs.

then pastor rushed thru the sermon. cant take it! too much of arrowing? or shaping? dont know how to say.
if he really go in depth. wah. i'll go bonkers.
dont know how long he preached. but i think very short.
but it's like wow!
from the start of his preaching till the end, i really need a bucket. maybe an offering bucket?
i was like. pow wow. every sentence. every word. life changing thing.
this may be the sermon for me. it's like tremendrous! that's it. cant miss any session from now on.

after service, havent 'cool down' yet. go help Jasmine sell ice-cream. lol.
the Joanna shoo-ed me to the bus bay. ask me go home. yay.
i totally love Pastor! he chartered SBS TRANSIT bus to bring us back from expo to various part of Singapore. the first time ever fastest to reach home. hahas. :)
