it's a previlledge given to me. to be the OVERALL INCHARGE of the Sec 1 Orientation Camp
last 2 years, i've been attending sec 1 orientation camp as a Class Leader.
but this time! woohoo!
though i've planned many camps and have a lot experience, but this is my first time to be OVERALL INCHARGE!
LOL. um. with great authority comes greater responsibility.
okay.. 3 weeks away from now is the camp.
and i haven started doing anything.
quick, congrates me.
hahas. good thing i've attended breakaway and inspire.
learn alot from Kel Tan.
He's a great Camp Commandant.
at least for now, i've got 1/4 of his 'power'
i can do better! =)

this is blogging for 20th of dec.
coz i believe on the 21st of dec, still got something more to blog abt.

started off my day at Childrens' Church.
it's totally cool.
though i'm standing in the lift as lift usher,
but i can really sense the Joy of the Lord through me.
not just that, can say i've made some new friends.
at B2, the door lift just wont close. hahas. and i've met shawn, an usher.
and in the lift, many sercuity goes up and down. some even complain to me.
hahas. cool rite.

actually wanted to go mindscafe with the old ppl of GB.
but cant find the place. so decided to drop it.
then we slack and walked ard. and, there's not surprise for me de.

but! they went to suntec Hans' to buy lah. Chocholate cake.

then, low and behold.

BREAKAWAY camp is over. :)
i really enjoy the bonding the TLs have.
it's really different from Inspire camp in June.
this is surely LARGE scale. with 500+ ppl ard.

the difference i'm talking abt is in terms of 'experience'
Inspire is inspiring to rise up, but breakaway is just like a breakthru.
i feel that this camp is based on the theme : LOVE
Lynn shared with me abit on the book of James, Cindy talked abt Love, all the session were LOVE.
God's love and His everlasting love

i was serving as a Team IC in Knight, which cause me to level up.
2 days before the camp, i knew that i was team up with Lynn Choo.
i thought it's gonna be great, futhermore, at least i have a CGL to rely and depend on.
low and behold, she's like a David Copperfield through out the camp.
she's just like a nurse to injured ppl. mostly from our team.
like what Jasper said, 'the spirit of stress just fall upon me' hahas
single-handedly, build up the team. *phew*

it's all abt leadership, stirring up the people, making them excited.
i'm not very experience in it, but i shall learn as the times passes.

the thing that impacted me the most was what the leaders said to me.
Lynn cant be with me, and she's like pushing me up to take up roles of leadership.
it's like taking a huge step out for me. though i may lead in student leader before, GB, and SC, but it's just different.
seems like a new level that God is challenging me.
till the end of first day, i just hope that the camp will be over soon.
i cried buckets while talking to Ju, Clara and YT.
so thankful that they prayed for me.
next day, my eyes were SO puff up.
the session with Pst Zhuang on the first day was so impactful. really learn alot.

2nd day, Eric asked Lokies and I to pray during session.
i was so kan jiong. then weiren said, 'when you fear, it's difficult to flow with the spirit'
i thought to myself that i wasnt a good prayer. but the Lord just convinced me that the words from my mouth out of heart is definetly much more better than the colourful words.
and i had the assurance when people ard told me that the prayer was great.
the day with my team was better.
at least not so shiong as the first day.
campfire and the drama put up by Knight was awesome. they did a great job.
700+ ppl turn up for the campfire. PTL!
after dismiss, some Knights still dont want go. in the end got police come... say we very noisy. -.-"
had an great time with N338 and N346. everyone was sharing how has the camp inspired and impacted them.
Cindy, a very lovely sister and dear leader to me, she really encouraged me alot alot alot.
her words pierce through my heart. again, i cried buckets.
we were at the staircase, and she uses an illustration to me.
i've taken a step out alr. there's no turning back.
other ppl maybe many steps ahead of me, but i'm slowly climbing.
which is a very huge step in God's eyes. i'm not experience in leading the CG in games, or have done anything like that, but i'm doing rather well.
i have the keep the momentum of climbing the ladder.
Cindy is really a great encourager. :) if not for her, i think i wont be able to do well in breakaway camp.

Lynn wanted to do evaluation with me for the day
but that was 2+am in the morning. hahas.
YT and i was laughing all in the toilet looking at Nicole and Lynn.
so happening. LOL.

Weiren wanted YT and me to share testimony. but in the end can only chose one.
YT went to share. but the process of writing testimony was rather formal and fresh for me. even though i shared during Inspire camp.
while heliping us to draft testimony, weiren encouraged me alot.
he said that even leaders, have difficulty leading. so, it's all those expriences that helped them along the way. he also said many many things.

then Kel Tan shared that a leader must have the right heart to serve.
if i just want to be leader for the reputation, eventually, i will step down.
He also said that a leader cannot break down. if he does, the whole group under him will also break down.
Shepherd heart is very impt. the short sharing opened up my eyes. thanks Kel

Last session with Yi Lun was one of the best. the presence of God was so strong. everyone knelt and cried. and LOVE was being spread across the auditorium.
she encourage and challenge us to STEP OUT and RISE UP. many things will arise against us, but our faith will gain the last victory.

i feel that Breakaway camp is like a level higher than Inspire, but Inspire was more fun.
Inspire inspired us to rise up and bring revival. but breakaway is alr the process of moulding and changing me.
HOW AWESOME IS THE HOUSE OF GOD!
Kel Tan also said to YT and me. first camp, we're campers.
second camp, we're Team ICs.
the next camp, BE HOUSE IC! hahas

it was definitely a great pleasure serving God with all of them.
Weiren esp, Knight's Boss/King. he really sarcifice alot for us. and he taught us how to 'SMOKE' and to 'Cross fingers'.
God is doing something great in the midst of all of us!

hahas seemed like i very busy.

last weekend was shiok.
with Rev.Dr. John Avanzini. anointed man.
had an totally awesome svc with him. =)
learnt alot alot from him. hahas.
he said something..which i forgot alr.. it started to rain heavily.
from the right to the left. oh man.
it's like so cool can. hahas.
and of coz, had a 'blink' weekend just like last week.
sat after cg, went to do mascot.
so blink blink. hahas.
did until 11plus.
then went to fellowship at s-11 our laughter can tear down the whole coffee shop, apart from those ppl watching soccer.
reach home ard 1.30am.

I'M GETTING SO EXCITED ABT BREAKAWAY CAMP! hahas.

after svc, both cgs, n346 and n338 went to changi airport to welcome Alex back to singapore.
mean time, hilarous moments happened there at MAC.

i super off.. know nothing abt drawing. silent all the way.
but the final product of the day was excellent.

one more thing. i first time exprience taking cab with a long long bamboo pole that stinks alot! and 2 times! taxi uncle dont want take us. sob sob

yeah. and sunday. we also did the same thing. but doing team mascots.
if we go city link more often, i think we really gotta help them mop the floor liao.
everytime go, everytime we spill the drinks.

all thanks to sheena. she ask me eat faster.. then use her legs to tickle me
and i shouted lah. and the whole foodcourt look at me..
we looked at eat other, laugh, and RUN! LOL. what a laughing meal.
then another time.. outside toilet. Jian Hui go scare sheena.. she shouted.
ppl ard all look at them. lol. jie han and i ran the fastest. LOL.
then ms lee was out of the situation.. and she looked blur. LOL

super happening today. they tested the costumes. and looks. FUNNY.
hahas. tmr gonna be a super packed day. i guess i'll look like an auntie.
